CCT (Condominium Certificate of Title)

Legal document proving ownership of a condominium unit

Definition

A Condominium Certificate of Title (CCT) is the legal document that proves ownership of a condominium unit. Unlike a TCT which covers land, a CCT covers your individual unit and your undivided share in the common areas of the condominium. The CCT is issued by the Registry of Deeds and includes the unit's technical description and floor area.

Tips & Things to Know

  • 1Keep your CCT in a safe place - getting a replacement is time-consuming
  • 2Check that your unit number and floor area match the CCT
