Tax Declaration / Property Tax Declaration

Definition

A document issued by the local Assessor's Office that declares the property for taxation purposes. It shows the owner's name, property location, classification (residential, commercial, etc.), assessed value, and the amount of real property tax (RPT) due.

Examples

  • Tax declarations are updated every general revision (every 3 years)
  • The tax declaration name should match the title owner
