Preselling / Pre-construction

Definition

Properties sold before or during construction, typically at lower prices than RFO. Buyers purchase based on floor plans and scale models. Payment is spread over the construction period (2-5 years), making it more affordable monthly but requiring patience.

Examples

  • Preselling prices 10-30% lower than RFO
  • Pay equity over 24-48 months during construction

Tips & Best Practices

  • Verify developer's License to Sell
  • Check developer track record for delays
  • Understand the risk of final product variation
