RFO

Ready for Occupancy

Definition

Properties that are already constructed and available for immediate move-in. RFO units allow buyers to inspect the actual property before purchase. They typically require immediate payment (full cash or bank loan) as opposed to preselling's spread-out equity.

Examples

  • RFO condo ready for move-in within 30 days
  • See actual unit, not just floor plans

Tips & Best Practices

  • Inspect the actual unit before deciding
  • Check for any defects or punch list items
  • RFO means no construction risk
