Punch List / Snag List

Definition

A list of defects, unfinished work, or items that don't meet quality standards, documented during property turnover. The developer is obligated to fix punch list items within a reasonable period. Common items include paint issues, fixture problems, and minor defects.

Examples

  • Punch list: scratched tiles, leaking faucet, paint touch-up needed
  • Developer must address items within 30-60 days
